Dental Assistant Training Programs

Dental assistant training programs are available at community colleges, technical institutes and even via the armed forces. You will need to have completed high school to obtain entry to a dental assistant's program. Prior to enrolling in any of these programs, check to see that they are approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. As well as learning theory and completing practical training in a lab environment, you will also get to directly assist dentists in their clinics. This process will gain you all-round experience on both the technical and administrative sides of being a dental assistant.
