Denver, Colorado city and county governments have a property tax rebate program for disabled people and elderly people. People in this tax relief program include those 65 or over or people who are completely disabled. They must be able to prove US citizenship and they must have resided in Denver for a year. The income level cannot be over $19,000 for couples or $13,800 for individuals. If the income is higher then the person is considered an exemption from the program.
