Is outsourcing right for your company?
November 15th, 2008 | by admin |A source of great argument and confusion among employers is whether outsourcing is a productive entity or not in their business. Many will be heard to wax lyrical of the advantages of outsourcing while others will say that their attempts to farm out certain aspects of their business led to failures that could only be measured in falling sales and profits.
The general consensus is that whilst outsourcing does generate considerable cost savings, the companies who continue to outsource cannot allow the manpower companies that they work with, either in the United States or abroad, to exercise complete control over the people that they employ. There should be sufficient in house staff not only to manage a holding operation in the event of a breakdown in communications but also to set and maintain a level of standards that can be imposed on the manpower company.
